BANANA NUT LOAF | |
1/3 c. shortening 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 3/4 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 c. mashed ripe banana 1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with mashed banana, beating well. Stir in nuts. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour or until done. Cool on wire rack. |
