MOLASSES CAKE 
Put in bowl #1:

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 lb. Fleischman's butter
Dash of salt

Make crumbs and keep out 1/2 cup for crumbs on top.

Put in bowl #2:

1/2 c. Brer Rabbit Gold Seal molasses
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water

Stir baking soda into molasses; mix real good. Add boiling water and mix real good. Add the molasses mixture to the crumbs and stir thoroughly. Pour in a greased baking pan. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup crumbs over the top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
