PEPPERED STEAK 
1 lb. round steak, cut into 1 inch strips
1 med. onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 clove garlic, minced
1 med. green pepper, sliced
1 med. red pepper, sliced
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can water chestnuts

Combine round steak, onion, chili powder, cumin and garlic in a 2 quart microwave-safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 5 minutes or until steak is thoroughly cooked. Add green pepper, red pepper and water chestnuts. Cover and microwave on high for 60 seconds. Serve over rice. Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
