CHOCOLATE LIQUEUR 
1 1/3 c. vodka
1 1/4 c. sugar syrup
3 tsp. chocolate extract
2 tsp. vanilla extract

BASIC SUGAR SYRUP:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. granulated sugar
2 c. water

Combine all ingredients in glass jar. Blend well. Store in cool, dark place for 1 week. For chocolate mint liqueur, add 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract.

FOR BASIC SUGAR SYRUP: Combine ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring often. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour into glass container. Cool before using.
