PECAN - MAPLE PIE 
4 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. maple syrup
1 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9" pie shell, chilled

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

2. With a rotary beater, beat together the eggs, sugar, salt, butter and syrup. Mix in the pecans and pour into the pie shell.

3. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce the oven heat to 350 degrees and bake 25 minutes longer, or until the filling is set and the pastry is browned. Serve cold or slightly warm. Yield: 6 servings.
