PECAN CRESCENT COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. unsifted 4X sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter until smooth and add sugar and flour. Blend until smooth. Stir in flour gradually and finally stir in nuts. Shape into small crescent-shaped rolls using about 1 teaspoon for each. Place on buttered cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

While still warm, roll in 4X sugar. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
