MEAT LOAF WITH PIQUANT SAUCE 
2/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 beaten eggs
1/4 c. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sage

Soak bread crumbs in milk, add meat, eggs, onion and seasonings; mix well. Form and place in greased muffin or loaf pan. Cover with piquant sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 8.

PIQUANT SAUCE:

Combine 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/4 cup catsup, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1 teaspoon dry mustard.
