1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cottage cheese
4-5 chopped green chiles
1 c. chopped black olives
8 oz. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 sm. pkg. Dorito's brand tortilla chips

Brown meat; drain. Add next 3 ingredients and simmer while preparing next items. Mix next 4 ingredients. Butter 2 1/2 quart casserole.

Layer about 1 to 1 1/2 cups crushed chips, 1/2 meat mixture, 1/2 sour cream mixture, 1/2 cheese, then remainder of meat mixture, remainder of sour cream mixture and top with 1 cup crushed chips and remainder of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
