KALE SOUP 
1 1/2 qts. of water
1 lb. chourico
1 lb. kale, shredded
1 sm. cabbage (optional)
1 onion, cut in quarters
1 tomato, chopped
1 beef bouillon cube
1/3 c. pasta (orzo)
Salt to taste
2 carrots, diced
2 potatoes, diced
1 can red kidney beans (Progresso)

Combine chourico, onions, carrots and tomato. Bring to a boil and simmer 40 minutes. Add kale, cabbage and beef bouillon. Let cook for 25 minutes more. Add pasta and potatoes and cook until done. Add kidney beans. Adjust seasoning with salt and red peppers crushed if you like.
