1 pkg. slice 'n bake chocolate chip cookies
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. white sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x8 inch pan. Slice half of cookie dough and refrigerate other half. Line bottom of pan with 1/4 inch cookie slices. Bake 10 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.

Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over cooled cookie layer. Slice remaining cookie dough into 1/4 inch slices and place on top of mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely. Cut into squares and refrigerate.
