MARINATED TOMATO SLICES 
4 tomatoes, sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. wine vinegar
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper

Arrange tomatoes and onions in a shallow container. Combine oil, vinegar, and garlic powder; stir well. Pour over tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 10 minutes prior to serving. Serve over lettuce leaves. 8 servings.
