FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
9 inch pie shell, baked
3/4 c. sugar
2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 c. water
1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 qt. fresh strawberries
Cool Whip or ice cream

Mix sugar, corn syrup, cornstarch and water together and cook until thick. Then add dry Jello powder and stir until dissolved. Cool well. Arrange about 1 quart fresh strawberries in shell; pour the mixture over them. Top with Cool Whip or ice cream.
