OVEN FRIED GINGERED CHICKEN 
3 to 4 chicken breasts, split
2 tbsp. melted butter
3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 to 1 c. flour

Wash chicken and wipe dry. Brush each piece with melted butter. Put remaining ingredients into plastic or paper bag. Add chicken and shake well to coat each piece. Place chicken in oven broiler pan or a cookie sheet (line with tin foil if desired). Bake in a preheated oven (400 degrees) for 1 hour. Turn pieces to brown both sides.
