CHINESE SALAD 
1 head Napa cabbage
5 lg. green onions, sliced
2 pkgs. of Ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. slivered almonds

Dressing:

1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar

Slice Napa cabbage into thin slices and add in sliced onions. Chill 2 hours. Brown noodles and almonds in butter, breaking up the noodles. Set aside.

Mix the last 4 ingredients for the dressing and chill for 20 minutes.

Just before serving, mix the noodle mixing with the cabbage and onions. Pour on the dressing and mix. It makes a very large salad; cut recipe in half for 1 family, 4-6 people.
