CHICKEN ALA ORANGE 
1 fryer, cut up
1 lg. onion
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sherry
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. orange rind
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Place chicken in a shallow casserole. Sprinkle onion and mushrooms over chicken. In a sauce pan mix orange juice and rind, sherry, brown sugar and salt. Cook over low heat and add mixed water and cornstarch to above. Cook until mixture thickens. Pour over chicken. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
