KATHLEEN'S LAYERED SALAD 
1 pt. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
13 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1ST LAYER:

1 head lettuce, chopped

2ND LAYER:

1/2 c. celery, diced

3RD LAYER:

1/2 c. green pepper

4TH LAYER:

1/2 c. onion, diced (purple, if possible)

OPTIONAL LAYER:

Radishes, chopped

5TH LAYER:

Sliced water chestnuts

6TH LAYER:

1 pkg. frozen green peas, thawed under water

Layer ingredients as listed. Spread mayonnaise over top. Sprinkle with sugar. Sprinkle with cheese. Sprinkle crumbled, cooked bacon. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate 24 hours.
