ARROZ Y GANDULES 
2 c. white rice
1 1/2 c. water
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped ham
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. olives
1 (6 oz.) can green pigeon peas
3 tbsp. vegetable oil

In cooking pot, add oil, pepper, and ham. Saute. Add water, sauce, salt, lives, peas with juice. Bring to boil. Add rice. Cover and cook at medium, stirring occasionally until rice is soft.
