CHOCOLATE CHIP NUT SQUARES 
2 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl; set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugars, and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts. Spread evenly into 9"x13" pan and bake until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. After chips have melted, spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top and allow to cool. When completely cool, cut into squares.
