PEAR BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. plain yogurt
1 c. chopped canned pears
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients; add to egg mixture with yogurt alternating. Stir in pears and vanilla. Pour into greased loaf bread pan, 9 x 5 inch. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour or until tests done.
