SWEET BISCUITS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk

Combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Cut in shortening. Stir in milk until well blended. Knead 10 to 12 times. Pat out to 1/2 inch thick, cut into biscuits. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
