BUTTERY BLUEBERRY COBBLER | |
1 stick butter 1 c. flour 1 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. milk 2 c. fresh blueberries 1 tbsp. lemon juice Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place into oven to melt. Sift flour, 1 cup sugar and baking powder. Stir in milk. Pour batter evenly over melted butter - DO NOT STIR. Mix blueberries, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup sugar in saucepan. Heat to a boil, stirring. Pour evenly over batter - DO NOT STIR. Bake 45 minutes until top is browned. Serve with whipped cream. Yields 6 servings. |
