MONKEY BREAD 
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
3 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter

Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt. Heat until butter melts. Cool to 110 degrees. Stir in the yeast. Pour flour into bowl; make a well; pour in liquid. Stir well. Cover and let rise until double - about 1 1/2 hours. Turn onto floured board; roll to 1/4 inch thick; cut in 3 inch squares. Dip each square in melted butter. Layer in greased 10 inch tube pan. Let rise until double - about 40 minutes. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
