FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 can fruit cocktail, well drained
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 sm. (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch bits
1 c. flaked coconut

Mix shortening, white sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add fruit cocktail. Sift dry ingredients. Add to above mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Dough will be stiff.

Chill and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes until light brown. Do not over bake.
