PEPPER HASH (RELISH) | |
12 lg. or green peppers, chopped 1/4 c. salt 1 stalk celery 3 lg. onions Add 1/4 cup salt to peppers, celery and onions. Leave 3 hours or overnight. Drain well. Boil 1 pint vinegar, 1 pint water and 2 cups sugar (5 minutes). Add chopped drained mixture. Simmer 5 minutes or until slightly syrupy. Put in jars and seal. Very good! |
