SAUSAGE FONDUE | |
8 slices bread, crust cut off & cubed 2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese 1 lb. sausage 1 c. sliced mushrooms 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. milk 3/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. milk Brown sausage, drain. Place cubed bread in bottom of greased 8 x 12 baking dish. Top with cheese, then sausage and mushrooms. Beat eggs with 2 1/2 cups milk and dry mustard. Pour over sausage. Refrigerate overnight. Dilute soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over mixture before baking. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 75 minutes until set. |
