MOCK CHOCOLATE PUDDING PIE 
14 Medjool dates, remove pits
1 very ripe sm. banana
3/4 c. apple juice concentrate
3 c. water
4 tbsp. carob powder
1 tsp. Postum
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. arrowroot or cornstarch
1 1/2 env. unflavored gelatin
1 c. water

In blender and in stages for easier liquifying, add dates, banana, apple juice, and water; blend well. Add the next 6 ingredients and continue to blend thoroughly.

In large saucepan, dissolve gelatin in water following directions. Add contents of blender to pan and cook 15 minutes, mixing periodically. Let cool 15 minutes. Pour over baked crust. Refrigerate until firm, approximately 8 hours. Top with sliced bananas and chopped walnuts, if desired. Makes 1 large pie and 1 small pie.

Pour into a glass a small amount of mixture from blender, tastes like a malt!
