MARYLAND PEACH PIE 
Unbaked 9 inch Classic Crisco double crust

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
6 c. sliced fresh peaches (7 to 8 med. peaches)
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter

1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.

2. For filling, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, peaches and lemon juice in large bowl.

3. Spoon filling into unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter. Moisten pasty edge with water.

4. Cover with top crust. Fold top edge under bottom crust. Flute with fingers or fork. Cut slits or designs on top crust or prick with fork for steam to escape. Cover edge with foil.

5. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes. Cool.
