LASAGNE, SHORT CUT STYLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (#2) size can whole tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 or 2 env. spaghetti sauce mix
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz. lasagne noodles
1 (6 oz.) pkg. thin sliced mozzarella cheese
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown meat slowly, drain excess fat. Add next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender, drain and rinse in cold water. Place 1/2 noodles in an 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" baking dish. Cover with 1/3 of the sauce. Add 1/2 of the mozzarella, then 1/2 of the cottage cheese. Repeat layers. Add the rest of the sauce and the Parmesan cheese. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Let stand 15 minutes, cut in squares.
