BREAD PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. powdered milk
2 eggs well beaten
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. melted butter
1 lb. loaf day old bread

Blend water and powdered milk. Add eggs. Combine salt, sugar, vanilla and add to milk. Add raisins and butter. Mix in bread until lightly moist. Do not over mix. Bake in greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour.

SAUCE FOR BREAD PUDDING:

1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 tsp. salt
1/4 c. powdered milk
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 drops yellow food coloring
1 c. water

With wooden spoon mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk. Blend in 1/2 cup water until smooth. Add water, vanilla and food coloring. Cook over medium heat until thick. Drizzle over warm Bread Pudding.
