CARAMEL APPLE SALAD | |
1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple 4 apples, diced 8 oz. frozen whipped topping 1 c. peanuts, unsalted Drain crushed pineapple, retaining juice. Combine sugar, flour, egg, vinegar and pineapple juice in small saucepan. Cook until thick, stirring occasionally. Cool. Combine diced apples, crushed pineapple and peanuts in bowl. Add cooled mixture and stir. Fold in whipped topping. Serves 8. |
