INDIAN FRY BREAD 
2 cups flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lard
2 cups cold water (approximate)
oil

Combine dry ingredients, cut in the lard. Add enough water to make a thick dough and knead well.

Heat oil in deep fryer to 350°F. Break off handfuls of dough and fry until golden brown. Drain and serve warm.
