BEER CHEESE SOUP 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion, fine
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Dash nutmeg
1/2 can beer
2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. half and half
8 oz. shredded cheddar
Garlic clove

Rub garlic clove on inside of large saucepan. Melt butter and saute onion, add flour, nutmeg and dry mustard. Whisk in chicken broth and beer. Add cheese and stir over medium low heat, until cheese melts. Add half and half. Serve with popcorn garnish.
