MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
3 3/4 qt. popped corn
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Put popped corn in a double grocery bag. In a microwave bowl mix the butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup and salt. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir twice. Add vanilla and baking soda; stir until foamy.

Pour mix over popcorn and shake well. Microwave in bag on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Shake. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Shake. Spread on wax paper to cool.

NOTE: 3 3/4 quarts popped corn is equal to 1 1/2 cups unpopped corn.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
