OVEN CARAMEL CORN 
7 to 8 qts. popcorn (popped)
2 c. salted peanuts (opt.)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. maple flavoring

Combine peanuts and popcorn in large bowl. In large saucepan, combine sugars, butter, syrup, salt and flavorings. Bring to boiling. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add baking soda and stir quickly. Pour over popcorn, mixing well. Put on large baking sheets and bake for 1/2 hour in 250 degree oven. Remove from baking sheets onto waxed paper. Allow to cool. Store in airtight container. Serves 8.
