SPICED CRANBERRIES 
1 pkg. cranberries
5 cloves or 1 tsp. ground cloves
5 whole allspice or 2 tsp. ground allspice
2 cinnamon sticks
1 1/2 c. sugar

Wash and drain cranberries. Place in large saucepan and add 1 cup water and spices. Cover. Cook over medium heat until berries burst, 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover. Serve cold. Makes 1 quart.
