MOLASSES COOKIES 
3/4 c. Crisco or butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. Grandma's molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
4 oz. red candied pineapple
4 oz. green candied pineapple
4 oz. red candied cherries
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat Crisco, sugar, egg and molasses until fluffy. Add flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, pineapple, cherries, pecans, and vanilla. Mix well. Chill and roll into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
