ROLLS OR LOAF BREAD | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1 1/2 c. warm water 3 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 1 c. evaporated milk 2 tbsp. melted butter 8 c. flour Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt, egg, milk, melted butter and 7 cups flour. Knead with remaining flour. Place dough in large bowl. Cover, let rise until doubled (about 1 hour). Turn onto floured board; knead. Divide into rolls or loaves. Place in greased pans. Cover. Let rise until doubled (about 1 hour). Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes for rolls, or 30 minutes for loaves. |
