4 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 c. butter, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. white sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 2 tsp. almond extract Beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar, white sugar; beat until fluffy. Add oil, eggs and almond extract. Gradually add flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar; mix just until combined. Cover and chill 30 minutes. To bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork and bake 10-12 minutes. |
