HOMEMADE BREAD | |
1 c. milk 1 pkg. yeast 3 c. white flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. cooking oil 1 egg 1 tsp. salt Heat milk to scalding. Cool to lukewarm. Put milk and yeast in blender. Let stand 5 minutes. Turn blender on "high" for 20 seconds. Add oil, egg, salt and sugar. Turn blender on "high" again for 5 seconds. Pour mixture into flour. Cover; let rise to double size. Knead; place in loaf pan and let rise to double size again. Bake at 375 degrees about 15 minutes. |
