HOMEMADE CROUTONS 
Wheat or white bread, dried
Cooking oil
Salt
Garlic
Parsley flakes

Cut crust off of bread slices (use as many as desired). Cut bread (dry) into 1 inch cubes, place in a glass or plastic bowl. Stir in just enough cooking oil to lightly coat bread, stir well. (Bread should be dry enough so the oil isn't soaked-up.) Sprinkle evenly with desired spices, on all sides. Place on a cookie sheet and broil for a few minutes, until crispy, cool.
