DELUXE FRESH PEAS AND MUSHROOM
CASSEROLE
 
2 c. shelled, fresh peas (one 10 oz. pkg.)
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. chopped pimento

Cook fresh peas in salted water for 15 minutes. Drain well. Cook mushrooms and onion in butter until tender. Stir in sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper. Add cooked peas and pimento. Cover and heat through.
