SAUERKRAUT - SAUSAGE DISH 
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in 1 inch pieces
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 (20 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
1 c. potatoes, grated
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. vinegar

In a 4-quart pot heat the sausage in the oil. Add onions and saute 5 minutes longer. Stir in the potatoes and water, then add the remaining spices. Cook for 45 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Serves 6.
