HONEY APPLE CRISP | |
6 c. sliced apples (2 lbs.) 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. honey 1/3 c. all-purpose flour 2/3 c. rolled oats 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter Arrange apples in greased baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice. Spread honey over apples. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees until apples are tender and crust is browned, about 30 minutes. Serves 6. |
