DEVIL'S FOOD CUPCAKES 
2 sticks butter
2 tbsp. lard
2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
4 sq. chocolate, melted
4 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour

Cream together butter, lard, sugar and salt. Add chocolate. Add eggs. Mix well. Stir the baking soda into the buttermilk and add alternately with the flour.

Fill the cupcake liners in pans 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes approximately 36 cupcakes.
