PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. crushed Rice Krispies
2 c. crushed corn flakes

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
About 2 c. powdered sugar

Heat sugar, corn syrup and vanilla slowly over low heat until bubbles appear. Do not boil. Add peanut butter and butter. Heat as before. Add crushed Rice Krispies and corn flakes. Press into 9x13 inch pan.

FROSTING: Bring butter, brown sugar, and milk to a boil. Add enough powdered sugar to thicken and spread over bars.
