1 lb. grated cabbage 3 med. lg. onions, finely chopped 4 individually packaged Kosher dill pickles with brine Place cabbage in large mixing bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Add chopped onions. Open pickle packages and save the brine. Chop the 4 pickles finely and add to cabbage and onions; mix thoroughly. Add 4 or 5 large spoons mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Pour in pickle brine and mix. Chill and serve. Yields: 8 to 12 servings. |
