PINEAPPLE AND RICE DESSERT 
1 c. long grain rice, not instant
16 oz. crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Confectioners' sugar

Cook rice according to directions but do not use salt. Refrigerate.

Drain pineapple and refrigerate.

Whip the cream, adding confectioners' sugar to taste and add vanilla and refrigerate. Combine all ingredients and serve. Serves 6.
