CABBAGE PATCH STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper
1 onion
2 ribs celery
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can Ranch style beans
1/2 head cabbage
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. chili powder
1 chopped jalapeno pepper
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute meat, bell pepper, onion and celery until meat is white. Add all other ingredients, including liquids. Simmer 45 minutes with lid, or until it is the consistency which you like. Delicious with cornbread.
