Thoroughly mix figs, gelatin, sugar and lemon ... boiling water. Remove jars from water and set on counter to cool. Makes about 6 (6 oz.) glasses.

Mash figs. Add sugar, gelatin and hot water. Cook for 5 minutes. Let cool. Place in pint jars. Place lids and bands on jars, screwing bands tight.
