POOR MAN'S SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. bacon
1 lg. onion
1 oz. jar minced garlic
2 lg. cans crushed tomatoes
1/2 c. sugar (opt.)
1 lb. spaghetti, broken in 2 inch pieces

Cut bacon in small pieces and cook until crisp. Remove from pan and place on paper towels to drain. Dice onion in small pieces and cook in bacon grease until transparent. Add garlic, tomatoes and sugar. Cook spaghetti, drain and add to other ingredients. Add bacon and stir. Makes large amount. Keeps well in refrigerator and also freezes well.
